About The Yoga Swing!

Hey there!
We are The Yoga Swing, a website dedicated to aerial yoga. Our aim is to provide the most insightful and up-to-date information about this incredible form of exercise. We offer reviews on different brands of swings, articles with advice for beginners, and more than anything else we want you to enjoy your practice. Aerial yoga has given us so much in terms of self-confidence that it’s our duty to share this knowledge with others who might be interested in joining the community.

We’re just two kids who fell in love with aerial yoga – Alex (founder) and Marta (editor). We hope you’ll find something useful or interesting here because sharing our passion is primordial for us! We are open-minded and we believe yoga and exercise should be fun and not a prison sentence. Approach it as you would approach life: playfully and with a positive attitude!

But first, let me tell you about myself…

Who is Alex?

I’m just a guy who started doing aerial yoga only two years ago – but everything changed after that! I was never very sporty and the concept of exercising every day for an hour or more bored me to death. My whole life revolved around work and my family, so yoga was a perfect escape from my daily routine. I liked it because it allowed for moments of reflection during my days as a busy man – I could clear my mind at any time and focus on myself for a few minutes.

Marta was the reason I got into this practice in the first place. I met her randomly at a gym one day and it didn’t take long until she told me all about aerial yoga – how easy it is to do, the fitness benefits, the calming effect it has on you. I didn’t think much about it until she invited me for a class and that was when I realized it’s the best way to get in touch with your body.

I loved everything – from taking off my shirt and letting go of my ego to the challenge of getting stronger every day! But what really caught my attention was the incredible effect it had on my overall well-being. I came back home after each practice feeling more relaxed, happy, and full of energy than before. It became a beloved part of my life pretty quickly – I still think about it when I wake up in the morning before going to work or when I get home exhausted in the evening.
